Lake Bütgenbach (surface area 120 hectares) was dug in 1932 at the confluence of the Warche and the Holzwarche. Located on the edge of the Hautes Fagnes plateau, it is a magnet for water sports enthusiasts (sailing, windsurfing and kayaking). When the weather is fine, young and old can enjoy the fine sandy beach and the “Venn-tastic beach”. In the centre of Worriken, on the shores of the lake, there is a holiday village and a campsite.
